Importing a chemical starts with the file, not the product: HS classification, SDS/MSDS safety data sheet, ADR hazard class, KKDIK and REACH registration, packaging and labelling rules. All of it has to be in place before the goods move — fixing it afterwards costs demurrage and lost production days.
